AnyConnect client licenses allow the use of the AnyConnect desktop clients as wellas any of the AnyConnect mobile clients that are available. You will need aclient license todownload and use the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client. A client license enables the VPN functionalityandaresold in packs of 25 from partners like CDW or through your company's device procurement.

Some USC online-based services require access through on-campus USC Secure Wireless or a wired network connection. USC offers a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection to provide secure remote access to these services when you are off-campus. When off-campus, you must use the Cisco AnyConnect VPN client to access internal USC systems handling confidential or sensitive data, such as Student Information System (SIS), and file servers for specific schools and departments. The Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility client is a web-based VPN client that does not require user configuration.

Rutgers VPN utilizes the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Application to provide secure remote access functionality for end users running Microsoft Windows, MacOS, or Linux. If you have not previously installed the Cisco AnyConnect client, you can authenticate to the VPN through a web-browser which will allow you to download and install the appropriate AnyConnect client. Simply visit and complete login.
You can also download the AnyConnect client through our ftp site. Choose your operating system and click to download the installer. We recommend using Google or Firefox for downloading the installer.
Once you have downloaded the Cisco AnyConnect VPN client from the App Store, select it to set up your connection. When the client opens, select Add VPN Connection... under the Choose a connection section. Enter a Description (optional), and then enter the Server Address: vpn.ucsc.edu. Press Save.
Once you have downloaded the Cisco AnyConnect VPN client from the Chrome Webstore, select it to set up your connection. When the client opens, select Add New Connection. Type "UCSC Campus VPN" as the Name for the connection, then enter the Server Address: vpn.ucsc.edu Press "Save Changes.
The Gatorlink VPN service provides secure remote access to the University of Florida network and makes it appear as if your computer were physically attached to the campus network. If you connect to remotevpn.wwu.edu using an outdated Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility client for Mac OS-X or Windows, the client will automatically exit if an update exists. Then the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client Downloader will automatically download and install the updated client. Once the update completes, the VPN client should automatically connect. The process should take no more than a few minutes, depending on the speed of your Internet connection.
